Whether you are planning a custom home, a renovation, an extension, an architectural build, or a commercial project, the steps below show how we take you from first idea to finished build.
Simple steps to turn your dream into reality

Reach out to Adam Waters to schedule your “Dreams to Reality” consultation. During this session, we’ll collaborate on a plan to help bring your vision to life and set a clear path toward your goals.

Consultation – This meeting is your chance to not only discuss and develop an action plan, but also to explore our ideas and see how the AMW Builders experience is customized specifically for your needs and preferences.

AMW Builders will draft a preliminary concept plan, refining it to match your unique requirements and ensuring it aligns with your vision until you’re completely satisfied.

AMW Builders will review your plans and partner with an architect or draughtsman who aligns with your tastes and vision. Together, we’ll collaborate to ensure that your design stays within budget and meets your expectations.

A follow-up meeting will be arranged to approve the concept plan and discuss the associated pricing.

Once you approve the concept plans, Adam will create a preliminary budget to ensure we stay on track with cost estimates. After your approval, your architect will proceed with the “pricing set” of plans, which will allow Adam to provide a detailed breakdown of the total costs, including the full scope of the build and subtrades.

Once both parties have approved the plans, we’ll ask you to sign a contract. A deposit will be required to secure your build date, and AMW Builders will submit the plans for council approval / Building approvals

Once Council and building surveyor approval is obtained, we will confirm a start and finish date for your project.

Throughout the build, we keep you updated with regular progress photos and updates from our site foremen. If you cannot visit in person, you will still see how things are progressing and stay involved at every stage.

As key decisions such as tile and paint colours approach, Adam will reach out well in advance. If you choose not to use an interior designer, we’re happy to provide support and guidance during this phase.

We encourage you to visit the site at any time during the build. We will also schedule regular meetings to update you on progress and walk you through each stage as it is completed.
